      For Advisors
Professional advisors play a unique and important role in the development of current and planned charitable gifts by helping their  clients make informed decisions about charitable giving. Through its Professional Advisory Group (PAG) the Foundation encourages professional advisors to promote charitable giving with their clients and to utilize the Foundation as a resource when appropriate.
All new funds set up between February 1 and June 30, 2009 will be eligible to receive an additional $1,000.

•Minimum of $4,000 required to open a fund with this offer (usual minimum is $5,000).
•Challenge grants must be given to one of the Jewish Foundation’s partner agencies by year-end 2009. Challenge grants may not be used to fulfill an existing commitment by the donor (e.g. prior pledge, synagogue dues, etc.) or provide any disallowed benefit to the donor or any related party.

*Donors will fill out a form at the time his/her fund is established with a list of the foundation’s partner agencies.  They will be asked to indicate how the $1,000 challenge grant is to be distributed.
